Birdy Sessions

Immerse yourself in soulful sounds surrounded by sweeping city views at our first ever Birdy Session, an evening of live jazz in the coveted Birdy Room. Sink into lounge seating in intimate low light while taking in the show-stopping space and music from Detroit’s preeminent artists. The night will feature renowned local musicians: Multi-award-winning jazz, soul and R&B vocalist Kathy Kosins, bassist and 2025 Kresge Eminent Artist Award recipient Marion Hayden, celebrated pianist Michael Malis, and the talented Tariq Gardner on percussion. 

Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink, complimentary charcuterie and light bites to enjoy throughout the evening, and access to our private Birdy Room bar. Doors open at 7:00pm, and the performance will run from 7:30 - 9:30pm with a brief intermission.
